Stephen M. Cea
Steve Cea, Managing Partner and Principal Marketing Consultant at 3S Consulting Group and has over 20 years of executive management, marketing, sales, and business development experience in the global life sciences market. Prior to launching 3S, Steve's corporate career included positions of increasing responsibility within the sales and marketing organizations of Calgon Vestal Laboratories (Merck & Company) and ConvaTec (Bristol-Myers Squibb).
In his marketing capacity while at ConvaTec, Steve was the U.S. representative to the company's global commercialization team, and was responsible for planning the successful commercialization of three core brands within the U.S. market. Prior to this, Steve was in a sales leadership capacity and responsible for leading sales teams throughout much of the Midwestern U.S. The sales teams under his leadership aggressively pursued, and consistently exceeded, company objectives and Steve was subsequently awarded the highly coveted Sales Manager of the Year award.
Early in his career, Steve held executive sales positions in the competitive New York City market. He was consistently recognized for exemplary sales performance and the winner of numerous President’s Club awards.
Steve's expertise is establishing and growing relationships with executive level client stakeholders, identifying client needs and objectives, defining and recommending business solutions, leading cross-functional project teams, and ensuring project deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
At 3S, Steve’ responsibilities include; Overall P&L responsibility, building relationships with executive level client stakeholders, identifying and expanding 3S’ consulting practice within key accounts, leading cross functional project engagements, and managing 3S’ consulting team. In addition, Steve is often the lead consultant on the firm’s market strategy engagements.
Steve received his Bachelor's degree from Towson State University, Towson, Maryland and previously attended East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina at which he was a member of the NCAA Division I, Varsity Football Team.
Lisa M. Carone
Lisa Carone, Managing Director, 3S Consulting Group, is a highly experienced project management, marketing, and executive search executive. Prior to joining 3S in 2002, Lisa enjoyed a successful career with a boutique market research and recruiting firm which specialized in the medical device market.
Lisa is highly regarded within the medical device clinical community and in 2006, published her first article entitled, New Opportunities for Wound Care Clinicians: Taking the Leap into Industry.
Lisa is the Coordinating Partner on many engagements and leads the cross-functional teams assigned to each engagement.
