Stephen M. Cea

Mr. Cea has over 25 years of executive management, marketing, sales, and business development experience in the global medical device market. Prior to founding 3S Consulting Group in 2002, Mr. Cea's eighteen year corporate career included positions of increasing responsibility within the sales and marketing organizations of Calgon Vestal Laboratories (Merck & Company) and ConvaTec (Bristol-Myers Squibb).

In his marketing capacity while at ConvaTec, Mr. Cea was the U.S. representative to the company's global commercialization team, and was responsible for planning the successful commercialization of three core brands within the U.S. wound care market. Prior to this, Mr. Cea was in a sales leadership capacity and responsible for leading sales teams throughout much of the Midwestern U.S. The sales teams under his leadership aggressively pursued, and consistently exceeded, company objectives.

Previous to this, Mr. Cea held executive sales positions in the highly competitive New York City wound, skin, and infection control markets. He was consistently recognized for exemplary sales performance.

Mr. Cea's expertise is in assessing client needs and objectives, defining business solutions and strategies, and building and leading cross-functional, multi-faceted project teams.

At 3S, Mr. Cea is responsible for the overall direction of the firm, as well as building and developing the firm's executive management team, and team of highly experienced subject matter experts and clinical thought leaders.  Mr. Cea is the lead consultant on all market research related engagements.

Mr. Cea received his Bachelor's degree from Towson State University, Towson, Maryland and previously attended East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina at which he was a member of the NCAA Division I, Varsity Football Team.
